The construction manager was very unresponsive throughout the process. Our lawn was completely dead when we moved in due to the lack of care/watering. We have also had a variety of issues with the house since moving in.

It isn’t a good time to have a house built right now. Hard to find skilled labor who cares about their product. Unskilled labor is getting the jobs moved forward at the homeowners expense. Doesn’t seem like anyone cares about their BRAND. Check out the Facebook posts of the neighborhood you are buying in—I may have gone with another builder if I had. If you can wait to build and let the frenzy pass, I would.

We have been concerned with all the repairs that have been necessary in a new constructed home. Our experience with the construction managers has been outstanding. Don’t think we would purchase another Centex home.

46 days past our closing and we still haven't moved in fully due to punch-list not completed!!!

I'm just going to say the project leads Cody, and Abbi seriously dropped the ball on our home. We were forced to close or be charged an additional 500$ a day until closing. We are 46 days past our closing and we haven't finished moving in due to long list of punch-list work that needs to be completed. The quality of finishing work is abysmal, and even after 3 attempt of I-worc trying to fix their horrible paint/caulk job we are hopefully going to get results from a new sub-contractor. When the best that our project lead Abbi can say to us is that your house is livable there is a problem. ...

Haven’t had a ton of issues with the home yet other than some minor stuff. Never buy a centex home until all items are completed before close. I moved in late January and still have no yard other than mud. I understood that it would not be completed due to weather but was under the impression that those things would be completed in order. They do not move in order and currently houses that closed a couple weeks ago already have yards. On top of that they refuse to give answers on anything.

What is supposed to be ready by October/ November, didn’t even started until October, unfortunate Who is having to extend my lease for a short term and pay stratospheric amount for my rent, is Me not Pulte, who is having to pay extra storage for my furniture and belongings it’s Me, not Pulte. Back in April I was told my house would be ready by August/Sep… here we are in October. Sad. Worst experience ever, for me and my family. So, there is noting to celebrate here… Do what you have to do.

I have crooked bricks in the exterior, missing quarter round, vinyl floor planks moving and oh the internet cable was not laid for the entire phase two group. I have been operating off hotspots and I telework. How does a critical work item not get executed during a project, it’s baffling. Who know when it will actually get done. I will pass on this experience with any one interested and continue to inform anyone who will listen.

As a first time home owner the experience was not great. Not only with the constant delays but also with the materials. With what I picked to the cabinets and floors to having to get something else because they no longer had the products. With the floors they put carpet in the wrong area therefore when it came time to place the vinyl they no longer had the material. There was also a crack in the cabinet which they just tried painting it to fix it. Also, after closing there was a number of issues. I wish I would’ve hired a 3rd party inspector instead of me finding all the issues myself. I’ve built before with another builder and expected the same experience. Well that didn’t happen. Ironic that this survey came the day after finding the latest issue. Irrigation person came out to fix a sprinkler head. In the process he discovered that Zone 6 was out of the schedule. He turned it on to test and discovered that the line was broken under the sidewalk in my neighbor’s yard. A deliberate cover up to get us into the house. During the sales, they were the ones who suggested a completion date that had a 2 months float. However, they completed the house 4 months after the date they provided. They did this just to get our initial deposit. Craftmanship is not the best, the light fixtures are as cheap as they come (in a $359K house we were expecting more). They backyard does not have the proper slope and grading so is always wet and cannot be used. I have been trying to have them fix this for 3 months now and all they do is give excuses. Once we got people from Centex that were higher up the chain our home the whole process improved. But overall it was not a very good experience. Example: the entire sewer system was left unattached to the main line. Had we not caught it w our home inspector it wouldve been left that way!!!!

We loved working with Pulte until halfway through the building process. Whether disorganization, outright lies, deflecting responsibility- it was a disaster.

The mortgage side, title side, insurance we’re all great to work with, but Pulte needs to allow its team more control over their vendors. The detail work was below expectations, that’s even when they decided to show up. Closed 2 months late and it’s a real shame our first home buying experience went this way, rather not do it again

The house is great but more care should go into the actual homeowner experience. The floor plans need slight adjustment and there was no thought on this location with the warehouse, street and train all so close. Really needs a thicker wall around the perimeter. It makes living here very untenable.

Our point of contact was horrible and the building process was very slow. Really disappointing when other homes that started after ours, were completed before. Our closing date was moved almost 1.5 months.

The way the builder interpreted Centex and Pulte is somewhat misleading. There was a reference to Centex whenever a question of standard and quality comes. Though Pulte acquired Centex, the builder take pride in being a Pulte owned, the quality of construction and handling of issues is not upto the mark. My friends who constructed through Pulte had a better buying experience and warranty claims. We somehow felt that the Centex tag on them became a reason for skipping many items on the build quality.

My home was not completed when we closed, it has been over a month and a half that we closed and still no one has come to my home to paint over 40 drywall patches and tags that had to be corrected after closing. For them to come complete the tags around our house it took them one month after closing. I really wanted to love my experience with Centex/Pulte but I am completely disappointed by the work and lack of interest that was put into this home.

The lack of communication is almost enough to make you wish we bought somewhere else. We have had issues with our closing date, our driveway, the HVAC and the landscaping in the backyard. All other issues are to be expected and are small. It has been a frustrating experience. The communication is horrible.
