Closing date delayed 3 times, many items unfinished on day of closing. No plan or communication of a plan to fix issues Can’t trust much of what they tell you. So disappointed.

Promises but no followup

Some of this is communication. I may call to check up on an issue and find someone is coming out but I didn't know it since I didn't need to be there. I get shuffled person to person on follow-up. Follow-up is not timely. I can handle scheduling for the future but I need to know and not be left with the impression someone will respond right away.

Everything was good in the beginning. We live in Colorado and are buying a new home in Ocala, Florida. Felt like we were rushed through the walk through and didn't really get a chance to look at the house throughly. The homes are put up quickly and often times things are overlooked r just not finished. Beware every little thing adds up quickly so it is easy to add $50,000+ to your home quit even noticing. You will spend extra of your own money fixing the shoddy taping in the garage and repainting as the paint quality is very inferior. The homes are crowded in and it seems that every inch of space is filled. However, the facilities are too small for the number of homes and they will never be able to hold events for the entire community which makes getting to know people hard. All of our neighbors have had the same issues as us, so it appears that Pulte builds homes using the cheapest methods "the home building code" will allow. In example, we have a walkout rambler with an unfinished basement. You can feel the counter bounce when some walks across the floor. Everyone is having this same issue but Pulte will just tell you they did everything to code. If you bring in an engineer, they will tell you that you will need to consider strongbacks. Don’t trust them to fix things that go wrong even one day after the close, hire someone to give you an expert opinion prior to close. They are great at giving you the run around.

I had high hopes for our beautiful new - and very expensive- home. Our construction mgr was the only reason we went through with the home build- Clinton was awesome. We had horrible experiences of being lied to and the quality of their product is horrible. Def not what we expected

It is questionable whether final power washing was done as there was mud on the garage floor Cleaners did a poor job of final cleaning. Painters were very careless, leaving permanent damage to flooring and concrete. Cracked windows have not been replaced. French door handles do not line up. Overall quality is not up to the claim of a high quality home.

We cannot believe how bad the quality of the work is in our house. (Kitchen has 3 lights over our island, not centered over island and no electricity) tile floors has bubbles in them. Our customer service person ( Brittney) has all this information and when I reach out about when we can expect someone to fix these problems I get no answer to my email and when I call3 times) get voice mail and no returned call. I can’t believe Del Webb has their name connected to this kind of quality in our home. And all our neighbors have the same problem .

The house is built fairly well. However, the attention given to the finishing details is poor. Our punch list is very long and after 2 months our house is still littered with blue tape showing the defects yet to be corrected. Upgrades, although costly are about medium grade .

Our salesperson Sarah was great. She has been very helpful. Wish I could say that about the construction process. We signed contract Feb. 1 and closed Dec. 16. The house was not ready to close. Lots of issues and the paint and texture job was terrible. Still trying to get everything taken care of two months later. Jesse in Warranty has been very helpful but lots to do.

After signing the contract and giving down payment to Del Webb there was very little communication from them. Now that we are closed and moved in it isn’t any better. We have been in the house for almost 6 weeks and haven’t been able to get anything done yet going through our warranty person for a leaking roof. We have some other warranty issues that have not been addressed yet either.

Our sales person was good to work with, knowledgeable and detailed. Construction of the home was slow, it took just over 1 year to complete. Our construction Superintendent was attentive during the build, however, Anthony has become non existent post build. The same can be said for his manager Ron. Text and emails are not answered, very unprofessional! At the suggestion of other residents of our community, we had our home professionally inspected within 30 days of moving in. We had a great sales representative and that’s about it for the good. It only upsets us greatly to rehash how awful the construction of our home is. Most expensive house we have ever built and the worst from a construction standpoint! I don’t believe anything is square in our house. First Dy in the hose th breaker box trips. I reset it and two seonds later it trips again/ Ridiclos! New hose and this happens. Took too long to receive a response from builder, I hired a building inspector because I cannot trust this builder. The inspector found several issues with construction of home. I have submitted report to builder. Let's see how long it takes for them to fix issues. Ii am not holding my breath. If I did I would be dead. In general, Pulte builds a good product. The finish work and warranty is horrible. I have purchased 2 properties from Pulte (primary (2020)& investment(2022). I am having issues with my one year warranty on my primary residence. February 2023 will be two years since I closed. I purchased a second investment home in November 2022. It was not finished at closing in November. I was assured things would be finished by mid December 2022. I left a 53 item punch list on December 1, 2022 and the repairs are not finished. (it’s Jan 11, 2023)
