Overall poor from sales to construction. Multiple project managers with poor communication, sales with over promises, and a swamp in my backyard making it unusable. Already considering moving.

Not very responsive to issues.

Best floor plan we saw out of all the different developments we visited. Not as many choices for changes, but the changes we needed & wanted were available. All the processes went smoothly. Having Ryan as our field agent made everything run smoothly. He found the mistakes & had them corrected. He oversaw all of the sub-contractors work. We love our new home.

A horrible experience! The law firm at closing did not have all their paperwork together. What supposed to be about an hour long signing, a lot of the paperwork was already signed, took almost three hours. The house was not cleaned properly prior to moving in, a lot of construction dust was on the floors and countertops. Three days of living here the plumbing was backed up due to a 2’ level being thrown down in the clean out pipe. The county had to come out here and dig up my front lawn 10’-12’ down to remove it and repair the pipe and back fill, then it it took another three weeks to get new sod and repair the sidewalk. We had ants on the first floor bathroom and dining room within two weeks of living here. The contractor came out and sprayed in the walls again. It seemed to work but now ants are back again. Makes wonder if the house is sealed properly. The dishwasher stopped working after six weeks, repair man from warranty company did not fix it properly because we’re still having the same issue. The hinges and screws on the back door have been showing signs of rust already. No one here seemed to know where to get trash receptacles from. The paperwork gave wrong info and HOA gave wrong info. What a disaster! ... More

Most everything was great. But unfortunately, as we expected, as soon as we closed and were given the keys, most all of the items that our building supervisor promised would be fixed within a few days (i.e. cabinetry x4, carpet), were never fixed and we never heard from the building supervisor again. As a result, we're forced to go through the Pulte warranty department which takes weeks and months to have anything addressed.

The Deer Valley Floor Plan is Amazing!

Both sales and construction people had very likeable personalities. However, sales person was not clear (misleading) on some items, both financial and scheduling. It appears they said what you wanted to hear. Construction manager was not forthright on issues and scheduling. Attention was not paid to details. Some items installed incorrectly or sloppily were overlooked. Some items paid for were just not installed by COE. Construction manager pushed all items which should have been dealt with by COE onto the Customer Care manager. It took Customer Care months to deal with numerous issues, most of which were identified at the walkthrough before COE. ... More

We chose Pulte because of name recognition for quality homes. Unfortunately we are not impressed by what we received and there are still issues with our home. I would definitely have to think twice if I were ever to buy from Pulte again.

Home was built and delivered promptly.

We searched for over a year for the perfect home, great floor plans, value and location. Pulte has provided us a great "All in One" experience from start to finish. A great product and a reliable company. A+

Great service from staff and timely construction

Building process from start to finish was great. Pulte kept us informed with the progress of the house.

I had a great experience purchasing my new home. Ben in the office, and Jack, my builder were amazing. They kept in constant communication with me about my new build. Even with all of the supply problems that COVID brought, Jack was able to get my home completed right on time and with impeccable work. This was my first home purchase. I had lots of questions, and Ben was always so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I’m very happy with my experience with everyone at Pulte and with my beautiful new home. Thank you Ben & Jack!

I have a good experience during the sales process. The sales person wasn't pushy and was very responsive even after I signed the paper work and paid my deposit. I went with Pulte Mortgage and also found the various people that I communicated with at Pulte Mortgage to be very responsive as well. However, post closing is a completely different story. I have a number of issues. My fridge is in the middle of my kitchen and has been for almost two months because it cannot fit because the upper cabinets are too low. There doesn't seem to be any urgency on their part in trying to fix the issue. The customer service folks that you are suppose tor reach out to are not very responsive. I understand that sometimes things can take time to resolve and I have been very patient, but, at a basic level, you should be communicating with your customers about why things are taking time to resolve and when you expect to address the problems that have been raised. This is customer service 101. In this case, crickets. Overall, I'm very disappointment with the workmanship. There were glaring issues like cracks in the bathtub, newly installed towel racks falling off the wall, unfinished wainscoting, missing screws from switch plates, unfinished work on the siding, issues with the roof, garage door not working properly, AC not working ... I could go on. And, these are the things that I identified within the first month of moving in. God knows what's to come. In addition, the trades handled the materials roughly (there was clearly no care). Most, if not all, of the doors and frames have some kind of damage. There's also damage to the cabinets. I can't tell you how many non Pulte contractors have entered the house and commented on the glaring imperfections in the drywall (... I mean really obvious stuff that anyone that cares about their work would see). If I had to do things over, I don't think that I would go through this process. If you're someone that values workmanship and quality you're better off renovating a home or building from scratch, which will give you the opportunity to work directly with a reputable and reliable general contractor that's interested in doing good work. ... Everyone that we directly worked with was great. We love our house location, style, and layout. However, I feel like for the price we paid, the quality does not match. It seems like corners were cut to put cheaper material in where just doing it right the first time would have been better. When you find beer bottles in your home during the construction process you really question who is actually building your home. I think for the price point, Pulte could have done better subcontracting trades.

We love the house, however, the quality of craftsmanship was not what we expected. They were prompt to address the many issues that were noted during the build process.

1. Vents making noise and pulte says they cant do anything. Cant sit in that room and do anything. 2. Bath flushs, and shower making so much noises that you hear on whole house. If someone goes bathroom in night, flush can wake others in different room. Bad Bad design 3. Staircases railing making noise, Windows put on wrong spots 4. After closing super bad customer service.

I was just excited about the entire build process with Pulte. Right from the start of the home selection process, through the interior design session and the actual build the Pulte team were always very helpful and constantly providing me with all the information I needed. The quality of the home is very good and I feel I got real value for my money invested. I can only offer great recommendation for Pulte as a valued home builder based on my experience.

My superintendent, Walter, is the best. He was there every step of the way during the process. He explained everything perfectly, and any minor issues that arose because of the bad storm, etc Walter was immediately available to help and get it resolved. He is the best.

Very satisfied with home buying experience and overall happy with the house. Only problem now is dealing with warranty representative. Unresponsive and denies fix for obvious defect. Asked for appeals process. No response.

The home is aesthetically pleasing - just as in pictures of the models. However, the quality of finish leaves much to be desired. There is a time-frame in which the new homeowner is allowed to "point out" issues that need attention. The Pulte representatives are accessible through appointments and do inspect and view homeowners' issues, but also note that they "can't keep an eye on every contractor during the building process". "Repair" contractors are sent out to make corrections, hopefully to the homeowner's satisfaction, which should have been completed before closing. We hope to be satisfied that the lackluster finish does not attest to the integrity of the structure. ... More
