While designing our new home, everything has to be in the STANDARD choices, regardless of custom’s needs (health and safety issues)! After closing, all issues that I reach out to the customer service were pushed away to 3rd parties, none was resolved by the customer care department! We have spent more time and money to fix issues that they won’t help! I’m so disappointed!

We closed 8/27/2024, moved in that same week. From the beginning we noticed a few itmes that were supposed to be taken cared of by our Construction Manager. The cans to our lighting were falling off, we had asked several times why they looked that way and he kept tallimg us he would push them back in place. when we moved in we figured out the were all missing a screw, they are all haing on by one screw. lets see how long they last. Second week in tje house we had to call Xcel energy becuse we had a strong gas odor in our kitchen. We 1st called the emergency number on the move in packet but ...

Everyone was great prior to closing. During my pre-closing walk through I identified several things that needed to be addressed, and the project manager promised that they would be done the day of or after closing. They were not, and many still have not been addressed 2 1/2 months later. In addition, I uncovered multiple additional issues with sloppy workmanship after closing and submitted requests for them to be addressed, they were no acknowledged. I escalated when I had AT&T come to install my internet and found that there was no conduit so internet couldn't be established. At that ...

There were issues that needed to be fixed before closing, but some weren't completed. I was assured they would be fixed, and I trusted them. After closing, the issues remained. I reported the problems and submitted requests, but I'm still waiting for someone to address them. I don't trust this builder. They took shortcuts to complete my house, and now I need to fix the problems. I'm frustrated that I can't get anyone to respond to me.

Was easy process, however we are having trouble getting the contractor come back out to fix issues that we saw on our walk down. House was not clean and found sun flower seeds in the carpet. Workmanship is not the best. Easy communication when we were buying the house.

I don’t even know where to begin, I probably wouldn’t go with another pulte home if I had to. Scraps left behind in my new house when I moved in, work wasn’t completed correctly. Basically no effort in making sure it was fixed correctly. Dustin yelling at my partner for having concerns over the quality of the work done on the house. Honestly it was the quality of the craftsmanship of the house that soured the whole process for me.

Not even willing to come out and take a look at the construction defect issues. Just Video call appointment and declined all of repairs request. All of my claims are industry standard and asked me to go to model home and take a look at it. Air conditioning rattling/vibration issue, the customer service supervisor said my neighbor have the same problem and asked me to start logging when it happens. This is not customer service! We sold a house to you so rest of them are “All your problems” We bought several properties from different builders but Pulte is the worst so far. None of builders ...

Pulte has a big problem in the Double Branch Community with the contractor living in unfinished homes, not to mention the using of the bathrooms in homes that are pending purchase. As, a buyer I stressed that the homes remained locked unless work was being done in them.

We chose to build with Pulte because of the quality they promised. We loved working with our sales rep but our construction manager not only didn’t know what was going on, but flat out lied to us a number of times. We are two months in and still having to deal with warranty because of lazy craftsmanship. Most of our issues with the quality are cosmetic, yes, but every where you turn in the house has issues, the base boards, the paint, the door hardware, scratches on the cabinets (the most expensive cabinets they offer), countertops, toilets don’t flush, the list goes on and on. As the trades ...

Pride in workmanship is LACKING

I'm very disappointed in the quality of workmanship in my NEW home. I feel that the house was thrown together and that nobody from Pulte was overseeing the build. The downstairs flooring has been an issue since before closing (8 weeks ago) and is still an issue today. I was told by Chad that once I put a rug and furniture in the room I would never notice it. There was paint left on the tile and carpet. The carpet in one room was cut and glued back together, but came apart, and the "fix" was to glue it back together again. The list of issues and sloppy work is long. Unfortunately, this has ...

I was continuously reassured that Pulte upholds the highest regard for quality and customer service and that was not my experience unfortunately. Many issues were left overlooked and dismissed even when brought to their attention, poor craftsmanship and skills to treat and handle higher quality materials, it felt like a wash at at point when subcontractors don’t know how to properly install, handle, or work with better materials. Disappointing customer service and evident flaws in internal communications and protocols across various Pulte departments, which intimately falls on the customer and the lack of accountability, acknowledgment, and resolution. For the premium price you’re paying for the Pulte name and product. I was sorely disappointed throughout the entire process, and after receiving my keys. My friend purchased a new Pulte build in another community (locally) during then same time and experienced similar issues, and we both had water damage and exposure to the structure and cabinetry even before moving into our brand new homes. Yet it was dismissed as “part of the process”, really upsetting. Amateur electrical work, poor (to no) attention to detail for paint lines/edges, covering nails in moldings and baseboards, uneven drywall (evident when fitting for ...

The process of buying/building a home with Pulte has been disappointing. Things started after the contract was signed. Design center options were no longer available despite being offered on the website. Designer did not take into consideration any of the on-line choices that were made. Pulte Mortgage's lack of communication was challenging; asking for documents over and over despite those documents having been uploaded. When we asked questions, they often were not answered, but if we were late in responding to any of their questions, we received regular "nag" emails (even if they had been ...

Our brand new Pulte home experience

We recently purchased a brand new Pulte home, moved in less than 2 months back and our experience in last 1 month has not been good at all. We had a leakage in one of the pipes in mechanical room which took almost a week to get fixed, noticed cracks on the wooden floor in few sections, bathroom lock’s doesn’t work most of the times and the walls get scratched very easily. Overall the quality of materials used in building the home are really bad and we wish we knew this before buying our dream home!

I don’t have time to write some elaborate review, let’s just say make sure everything is perfect before you move in. If there are any issues after the fact they do everything but honor their warranty and workmanship. Things that were identified before we moved in or the week after we moved in have still not been fixed and I am starting to get a feeling that they won’t. Huge disappointment.

There needs to be better communication and better quality of trades. The quality was to the minimum of code rather than quality expected with the new higher prices Pulte charges. Our yard was not graded and has so many flooding issues as well as our septic was never turned on until after a month we moved in, it could have been a disaster. 1/5 of our backyard is un-usable due to mud and no grading being done. We can’t let our dogs out in our backyard because of it and it’s unacceptable being 3 months in without anyone fixing it properly.

When I was shopping for my home I was shown the model homes that were immaculate. The sales representative was cordial and appeared friendly on the surface. After waiting months for my home to be built what I received was far from the immaculate model shown. My home was lacking the basics that should be offered with the purchase of a new home. First thing noticed was a lightbulb stuck up in the ceiling where clearly a light fixture should be. When I asked the field representative in charge of construction about it I was informed that I hadn’t purchased a light package. This was odd as I was ...
