We liked the "everything's included" plan. It helped us budget for the home we wanted with no surprises. We were disappointed by the interior paint quality, however (thinly applied and not durable or cleanable). We were told there was a paint shortage, but now we will have to repaint much sooner than we had hoped.

Lots of little things that either weren't done, missed, or just skipped all together. Use cheap materials with what appears to be unskilled labor to complete the build process. Sure the new features are neat but the quality is just not what I was expecting, especially with the price paid for the home. Many areas of the homes design just don't make sense from the lights and switches(which in some rooms especially the kitchen and hallway are backwards and in some cases on the wrong Side of the room) to the drywall, cabinets, the location of heater vents in the floor, the carpet is not good ...

Sales guy wasn’t truthful. Townhome was not move-in ready. Follow up getting things fixed has been painful. President of Coastal Carolina was non-responsive. On-site builder Scott is truly a nice guy trying his hardest.

This is the second home that I've had built with two different builders. The first one was an enjoyable experience and there was a true sense of care from everyone involved. Lennar has been quite different. The contractors/trade partners used to complete the home have no pride in their work. The person who oversaw the housing development was knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure things went well. When there was a problem, he would address it and make sure it was corrected in a timely manner. He truly cared about the project and made sure it was right.

The week of closing was the most stressful week of my life. When I came for my walk through it was clear that no one on the Lennar side had even went inside for a minute to check things before I arrived. I was there for two hours pointing out issues. I have two young children and I was on my hands and knees feeling the stairs and felt dozens of exposed staples. If my daughters were walking on the stairs they would have gotten hurt. Horrible building company. So many things wrong with house and finding more everyday. The communication was absolutely horrendous. We were told nothing about Hué about where the closing was going to take place etc. Then we find out closing is on the line my appointment was at four and we did not even get on the line until eight because they didn’t get on. Would never buy a Lennar home again

MS Brook P. was very helpful and always kept us informed. Buying a home from overseas and have not seen it in person is very scary, but MS. Brook made it very confident and trusting. We love our new home. It is built well and so far have only had drainage issues due to the new sod. Hopefully this gets better. We love our neighborhood and love the design of the home. Lending was quite easy with Lennar. The only problems we had was after we put in our application for purchase the communication almost stopped and processes were not explained to us at all. Communication was the biggest problem working with Lennar. As a first-time homebuyer, my experience was ruined because of my sales rep. The title company also gave me poor service as well. I was called after 6 pm to close on my house at 8 pm because that day I wasn’t even sure If I would since I didn’t hear from anyone. So I didn’t leave the title company until 10 pm.

You have no options or upgrades, just a cookie cutter builder for low to middle class. Poor quality workmanship and rushes through buildings just to sell. After closing almost two months ago I am still waiting for repairs to be done.

It is sad to see that the so called “Construction manager” don’t care about the construction but to have the “job” done. I closed in November and I did not even get a welcome package until this week. The sales team is excellent (Ali Meye) and they care even after the sales is done. I really wish somebody from Lennar with some kind of power within the company could contact me and go to home. Would never buy a Lennar home again

Lennar Title was so bad and the experience with closing ruined the experience of home buying. It took 4 hours to close because they were so backed up. The woman was so rude and we did it from my car. The quality of appliances is so bad, they are pieces of crap and I wish I just got some cash instead. Still unresolved issues.
